How do I find the angle of a right triangle with the hypotenuse and opposite sides?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Have you considered the sine, cosine, and tangent?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

What do you mean by hypotenuse and opposite sides? Do you know the lengths of all three sides?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The hyp is 46348 and the opp is 14322

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

By opp you mean one of the legs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The opposite of the angle, I guess it is leg 1 with the base being leg 2 and the hyp being the 3rd

OpenStudy (mathmale):

In your shoes I'd draw a diagram. A "right triangle" has one 90 degree angle. The hypotenuse is opposite the right triangle. Which trig function involves the angle, the opposite side and the hypotenuse? You need to write the relationship that exists among these three quantities.

Ok... I guess it is the Sine.. This is my diagram in the assignment: |dw:1394067969413:dw|
