Experts believe that most Native Americans died of diseases like smallpox, typhoid, or diphtheria in the first decades of contact with European settlers. Which statement best explains this phenomenon? Native Americans refused medical treatment from Europeans. Native Americans had never been exposed to those diseases. Native Americans were infected on purpose with those diseases. Native Americans did not have access to more modern medicine.
Native Americans had never been exposed to those diseases. So when the European's came into the area and they all suddenly started dying without attack, how else would they die? I mean the European's came from where those diseases were common also. I'm positive ont eh answer this time though. xD
