Distribute the 2:

Combine like terms (i.e. add the coefficients of the x^2 to generate a new coefficient for the x^2 term, and likewise for the x and x^0 (constant) term) to get
\[(6-2)x^2 + (-5 - 6)x + (1- (-8))\]
Simply combine the terms and you should get to your answer.
