Help with figurative language!

1) I gazed on the forest and burned/out the sahara desert,/with a packet of goat's meat/and a change of clothes/I crossed it in two hours - Is this a Hyperbole?
2)
I think I know enough of hate/To say that for destruction ice/Is also great/And would suffice. - Is this an understatment?
3) The woods are lovely, dark and deep./But I have promises to keep- is this symbolism?
4) The sky is low, the clouds are mean,/A travelling flake of snow/Across a barn or through a rut/Debates if it will go. - Is this personification?
