A homonym is a word that looks and/or sounds like another word with a different meaning. Exp: Q: What's black and white and red all over? A: A newspaper!
this sounds really lame lol but like. pause/paws I had to pause and look at the dogs paws because he was limping.
http://examples.yourdictionary.com/examples-of-homonyms.html This is the site I got it from and I think you will find it really helpful man!
Hahaha Lauren :P

I know I know haha
haaaaaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaa
lauren can you explain your words
Or you can go to that site. Like for example: Alexandar the Great would be Alexandar the Grape! They change them around
like as in what they mean? pause means to like stop..... and paws is like a foot on an animal. they sound alike but they are spelled different and have different meanings. like, another one could be "That girl is ugly in the face, but she has a nice butt" lol. or " we went through the room, and the boy threw the ball." through as in going through something, and threw as in throwing lol. im not good at explaining
hes right too. ^ jonathan
