you must use the half angle formula

∫ (1+cos 6x)/2 dx

But I don't understand what happens after that. CalcChat.com says it turns into

1/2 ( x + 1/6 sin 6x) + C

which turns into

1/12 (6x + sin 6x) + C

What I don't understand is how

∫ (1+cos 6x)/2 dx

turns into

1/2 ( x + 1/6 sin 6x) + C
