What polynomial has roots of -4, -1 and 6? x3 - 9x2 - 22x + 24 x3 - x2 - 26x - 24 x3 + x2 - 26x + 24 x3 + 9x2 + 14x - 24

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You either: 1) substitute -4,-1 and -6 in each equation and get =0 OR 2) factor each function by grouping

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok, substitute for x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes...But this is the long way... choose the factor by grouping it is easier

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, by making two seperate equations for each?
