Which is a correctly written sentence, not a run-on? A. Our backyard was all soggy from the rain, the dog's paws were all muddy. B. Our car wouldn't start, so Dad called a tow truck to take it to the mechanic. C. Our cousins are coming for a visit we plan on taking them to the zoo and the museums. D. The gate to our backyard had been left open our dogs got out while we were gone.

B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C is wrong because there should be a comma after 'visit' same with D but after 'open'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For A, the wording after the comma 'the dog's' seems worded weirdly to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I believe B is your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i'm sorry i read this wrong, @BeautifulNightmare is right. i think it's b

OpenStudy (anonymous):
