please help!!! What does Romeo and Juliet illustrate about the nature of love? Consider how the play portrays love between family members and love between young men and women Who is most responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet? Consider whether Fate, the families, the Friar, Romeo and Juliet, or any other characters from the play are most responsible. If a director must cut scenes from Romeo and Juliet for performance, which scenes could be removed? How would their absence affect the play as a whole?

I suggest putting this under Literature, you might get more help over there

1. Romeo and Juliet illustrates about love that it knows no boundaries. Even though Juliet wasn't really dead, Romeo still committed suicide over the thought. Juliet threw away her entire future, allowing her family to think she was dead so she could be with Romeo. 2. Well, Friar helped with their deaths by suggesting an elixr that would allow everyone to think Juliet was dead (Romeo including). Partially the families for not allowing them to be together. You can blame fate, but I think it boils down to Romeo and Juliet's stupidity. 3. They could dial down the dramatics and cut dialogue. Half of that wasn't needed to tell what happened. Absences if a director cut this out would lack suspense, and some of that vomit-inducing romance that really didn't have to exist. Of course, it might not be such a "great tragedy" then-- but that's my opinion. Hope this helped. I read the play last year so my knowledge is a bit rusty, but I'll help if I can. c:
