well some of the properties of a rhombus are all sides equal opposite angles equal diagonals bisect each other at right angles... opposite sides parallel do you think a square has these properties?

well thats not quite right.... the square is a special rhombus... all angles must = 90 a rhombus can have 2 angles 100 and 2 angles 80

All squares are a rhombus. In general all rhombus' are not squares. A rhombus with interior angles of 90 degress is a square.
