So, first you need to get variables (n) and normal numbers (64) on both sides. Adding 5n will do that, cancelling out the 5n on the right, and adding 5n to the left side of the equation. Then, you divide by 8 (8n and 64 both being divisible by 8) and end up with n = 64. Was this helpful?
