What is the qualifications, term, election, and duties of members of the General Assembly?

Qualifications: Must be 21 years old, must be a US citizen, as well a resident in the local district two years before election.
Term: Two years
Election: Democracy? Not sure what this means..
Duties: Works in the LEGISLATIVE branch of Govt. Reviewing federal principles, etc.



BTW all this information slightly varies depending on state.
