Well, Gatsby won't having a future because he is dead. :(
Unless you mean what his future could have been.

I think Daisy will see how what she is wrong, using Gatsby and not even having the decency to show up to his funeral. I feel like that well she had been a shallow character, the mistake will haunt her for the rest of her life. From this, it could go two ways. Either she becomes a better person from his death and learns, or she is just going to go into a downward spiral. Living with Tom could ensue that too, but... Her marriage will definitely not be a happy one; despite what she thought of his reputation, wealth, and on the surface being 'the safer choice.' Also, think of Tom's violent past. Who knows? He might go too far one night and end up hiding a body.

Yeah, what their future could have been if he was still alive, but also thanks for that. I also think the samething, that daisy will end up regretting this mistake especially choosing stay with a guy like tom. But If Gatsby was still alive, I can't predict much about it right now since I know what has happened already ;c any ideas?

If Daisy still had never called Gatsby, and he hadn't been shot I don't think they could have ever had a true relationship. As much as I want it for Gatsby, Daisy was a complete brat and far too child-like. She might have enjoyed a side-affair with Gatsby, but she would never leave Tom. If something hadn't happened to Gatsby I think something big would have happened between the three. It foreshadows it throughout the text, especially Tom's confrontation with Gatsby. Hopefully Gatsby would eventually grow enough to leave Daisy, but I doubt it with everything he has done for her.

Oh. Good luck on your essay, and the discussion. If you want some major filler on the essay you should bring up along with the analysis of Nick, how this has all effected him psychologically. You'd be able to theorize possible disorders he might have, and how they can be remedied. c:
