Music Group Rules brought to you by @Shadowfiend and @TuringTest The kinds of things that *are* allowed in this group: - Discussions and questions on musical theory. - Discussions and questions on instruments, instrumentation, composition, songwriting, etc. - Posting your own original work for feedback and criticism (as usual, please be respectful). Do NOT: - Post YouTube videos for other artists. - Post poems, they belong in the literature or writing section. - Post SoundCloud links for other artists. - Post questions about what people's favorite genres are.
- Post an Artist's name and a song by them, (e.g. a question that contains just -something like "One Direction Kiss You") - Post song lyrics that are not yours - Poll questions (e.g. "Do you like this song?" "What do you think about this band?" etc.) - Questions like "What songs should I download?" "What's good music for a birthday party?" - Information about personal accounts is also apparently not allowed, but let's ask @thomaster
Furthermore, it should be noted that posting song lyrics, or any written material without citing reference, can be seen as plagiarism, which is a federal crime.
Don't forget you are not to solicit your personal accounts either, such as YouTube channel, accounts on music sharing sites, and so on.
