OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Find the volume of a cone with a radius of 10 mm and a height of 6 mm. A. 628 mm^3 B. 600 mm^3 C. 1,884 mm^3 D. 1,254 mm^3

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

@wolfe8 can you help me

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Find the area of the base. Divide it by 3. Multiply by the height

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Or you could divide the height by 3 and multiply that answer by the area of the base. That would get the same answer.

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

6*3=18

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

now what is the next step???

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Why did you multiply 6 by three?

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

I mean 6/3

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

=2

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Find the area of the base and multiply it by 2
