The answer was A, but thank you for helping. :)

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Do you know why the answer is A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not sure yet, but I am going to figure it out.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Here is what this problem is trying to teach you: The ratio of the volumes is equal to the CUBE of the ratio of the dimensions.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

The ratio of the dimensions is 40:16 or 5:2

OpenStudy (mertsj):

When you cube that you get 125:8

OpenStudy (mertsj):

So you should write this proportion: \[\frac{125}{8}=\frac{1875}{x}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK I get it now. Thank you. :)
