x+2y=16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is it that you are needing to find...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I assume you are looking for the value of x... if so then what you do is you put the x variable and the y variable on diferent sides by subtracting the 2y from both sides.... you will then have x=-2y+16...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you are looking for the Y variable then you get y "all by itself" subtract the x from both sides to get 2y=-x+16.... then take off the 2 by deviding by 2 on both sides to get.... y=-x+16/2
