MEDAL FOR BEST ANSWER!
@satellite73
Please help
@yummydum I need an explanation I like to refer back to my questions...
\[h=\text{height}\]\[l=\text{length}\]\[w=\text{width}\] \[P=\text{perimeter of base: } (2l+2w)\]\[B=\text{are of base: }(l\times w)\] \[LA=Ph\]\[SA=LA+2B\]
ok..
plug in your numbers
Lateral Area = Perimeter x Height
If you thought I was going to do it for you, this must be your first time lol
I didn't Yummy, I thought you was going to work it through with me not giving me the freaking answer.
so LA= 34x1.63? Also Yummy I dont come here for answers I come here for help I already know the answers but this is a study guide and I like refering back to questions so I know how to do them for the test.
I am giving you the equations you need, I didn't think I'd have to tell you how to replace letters with numbers and use a calculator... which by the way, the equations for lateral and surface areas can very easily be found on the internet..observe: http://www.icoachmath.com/math_dictionary/lateral_surface_area.html http://www.icoachmath.com/math_dictionary/Surface_Area.html
L isten you lil pellet people learn differently. I just so happen to learn interactively.
@Kayne He was being offensive towards me acting like Im dumb and giving me the answer which ISNT what this website is intended for. I learn interactively and I certainly meant what I said.
so if anything that "lil pellet" shoul be the one with the warning.
@xGlisten I agree with your reasoning. We here promote interactive learning and are against giving out direct answers. If you come across any such problem in the future just send us - moderators - a message or just report the issue. We'll take care of the problem for you. Stay cool and enjoy OS. Cheers ;)
Thanks.
