do you understand what you are looking for? i can help you get through this one! i just would like to know where you get stuck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ik A and B r not choices

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i believe its C but im not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i like to work my way from easiest to hardest to get rid of some choices. we are looking for what y is doing in the shaded triangle. the easiest thing to see in my opinion is the green line. what are the rules for y and x with that green line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill do x and you do y ok? x is between -2 and +6 so... \[-2 \le x \le 6\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait im sorry ok i turned it around and i got B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B is correct!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Instead of everybody trying to anwser his question, can people that can help spread to other questions? Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with the green line you can see really fast that y is either -4 or greater than -4 because that is the lowest point on that triangle. that takes away both c and d
