Sometimes our immune systems can not be able to withstand some bacteria, especially if it is a new bacterium that we never have experienced before . Leading up to getting sick.
or maybe there is something wrong in our system....
or maybe u have eaten something wrong....or maybe a drastic change in d atmosphere around u...there can be hundreds of reasons...
"Fall ill" is not a proper biologic term. If you take "ill" to be actually having a disease, that limits things. But if you take it to be any impaired bodily function, it is much broader. Typically you fall ill because your immune system has met some sort of challenge that it cannot cope with. It a bacteria, virus or fungus infects you, you get sick. Or if a cancerous cell, which can be seen as a type of invading organism, starts dividing uncontrollably and your immune system can't kill it, you get sick too. But there are many other reasons. Dehydration or impaired nutritional status can do it. A heart attack or stroke would be a major illness by that definition, but involve no invading organism.
