use pythagoras and find the sides of the rectangle...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey! you figured it out!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i used the distance formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with what you drew though, you made right triangles, which in turn allows you to use a^2+b^2=c^2

random231 (random231):

yah that wud do tooo no problem....

random231 (random231):

so where are u facing problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im still doing it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooh i didnt know this! the one where you drew the right triangles, just find out what the part you didnt draw is as a value! a^2 + b^2 = c^2 the bigger one is easier to solve, as it is a nice rational number. you drew 4 and 3 as the sides right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 15.7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i also did

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thaaanks!
