You can start with a visit to Vatican City's website which has a biography on the Pope here: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/francesco/biography/documents/papa-francesco-biografia-bergoglio_en.html ...and then check out some general sources for what others think the new Pope will do, like this article from the Economist: http://www.economist.com/news/international/21598677-how-modest-canny-man-approaching-complex-task-leading-roman-catholic Those two articles should give you some ideas on what to focus on.
