What are the two roots shown?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-3 , 4?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

The roots are the numbers where the graph intersects the x axis.

The roots are -3 and 4. The graph is tangent to the x axis at 4 and that represents the root of multiplicity 2. And I would encourage you to try to learn to tell where a graph crosses the x axis.
