HALP IN GEOMETRY PLSSS♡ (will give medal, pic below)
use below :- exterior angle = [ (far arc) - (near arc) ] / 2
Awe my hunnybear can help you ^_^ he's very good in math.
becca :) u need to look at the circle from external point Y
84-35=49 49/2= 24-5?
not exactly...
\(\large \angle Y = \frac{VW - XZ}{2}\) \(\large 35 = \frac{84- XZ}{2}\) solve XZ
let me knw if smthng doesnt make sense...
so isnt that 84-35/2?
nope, cuz 35 is itself the "external angle", its not the "near arc"
ur goal is to find "near arc XZ"
so u need to solve above equation
\(\large \angle Y = \frac{VW - XZ}{2}\) \(\large 35 = \frac{84- XZ}{2}\) multiply 2 both sides \(\large 70 = 84 - XZ\) subtract 84 both sides \(\large -14 = -XZ\) multiply -1 both sides \(\large 14 = XZ\) which is same as : \(\large XZ = 14\)
35?
35 is the external angle GIVEN.
question is about finding XZ
look at diagram bit long.. u will see 35 at the external angle Y
I figured it out, thanks for your heeelp c:
np... u wlc :)
