How can you be more descriptive in writing?

add more detail. here's an example, ""OMG, this is even better than I imagined!" Jessica exclaimed as she looked at all the amazing décor, the walls were painted ether black or red, some of them had blood coming off of them or they had words written in an ancient language. The floors had green glop everywhere they also had strobe lights I have to admit. It was really cool. The celling was awesome yet terrifying; they had fake bodies hanging on them. Some of the bodies looked as if they had been stabbed several times others looked as if they had been put through a torcher device." This is something that I wrote.
