Which word does the participial phrase modify? Is that a sketch of the dress designed for the performance? A. sketch B. performance C. dress D. designed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's your guess?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I WAS thinking C or A but I'm not so sure..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It isn't A because sketch modifies dress. I believe it is B and the participle phrase is 'designed for.'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it is a regular participle it with either end in -ed or -ing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, okay thanks. I was stuck on this for like 20 minutes!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem. c: As long as it is a regular participle you should be good.
