Look at the triangle. A scalene triangle ABC is shown. Segment DE is parallel to BC. AB is 10 centimeters in length, AC is 14 centimeters in length, and DC is 7 centimeters in length. What will be length of AE? 5cm 3 cm 4 cm 7 cm

I believe it would be 7 cm.

I got 5 cm because the side in all is 10, and we know the mid segment is DE because 7 cm is half of 14 cm. I'm not sure if that made sense, but I'm pretty sure its 5.
