Will someone please help me with analyzing a poem by ee cummings?
Which poem? Or should I say " which poem"
"i carry your heart with me"
There's not a whole lot of deep hidden meaning to analyze here. Perhaps you are trying too hard. It's a love poem. It's written differently than everything else. You should be able easily list all the rules he breaks. And while you're doing that you look at love, the oldest topic for poetry there is, in a new way. It's one of the best love poems ever written. I mean, seriously, if a man were to whisper "i fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet)" and you knew he meant it, what else is there? Go with your own thoughts on analyzing this one. I'm sure you going to hit pretty close to the mark.
