help

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

welll multiply every term in the 1st equation by 3, then add the equations, which will eliminate t 6s + 9t = 33 7s - 9t = 32 ------------ when you find the value of s, substitute it into either equation to find t hope it helps

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

I did that and I got s=-1

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

but it doesn't work out with t

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

I get 13/3 for t which seems not to make sense to me

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

wow 6s + 9t =33 7s - 9t = 32 -------------- 13s = 65 hope that helps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know you got this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh no you made a mistake somewhere on this one

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

s=5 t=1/3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now you have it

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

thats it, well done
