This is a Physics problem, I am aware. Just thought I would also post it in Mathematics. :)

A plane has a speed of 285 km/h west relative to the air. A wind blows 25 km/h east relative to the ground. What are the plane's speed and direction relative to the ground?

No, the overall direction is west. The wind is just slowing it down slightly.
