OpenStudy (shadyykatie):

Write the resultant of the two vectors as an ordered pair. <3, 6> and <5, -5>

OpenStudy (btaylor):

When you add two vectors, you basically get to add their components. So, with two vectors, the resultant is the sum of each component:\[<x_1,y_1> + <x_2,y_2> = resultant = <x_1+x_2,y_1+y_2>\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So you just put < 3 + 5, 6 + (-5) > ?

OpenStudy (btaylor):

yep.

OpenStudy (shadyykatie):

Oh ok that makes a lot of sense! Thank You @BTaylor you are a lifesaver! And Lol @Justin_Bieber glad you learn something (:

OpenStudy (btaylor):

you're welcome @ShadyyKatie (and @Justin_Bieber)
