Need help finishing up a project on the Byzantine Empire.

I finished part A:
1. How would you name the school? What would be its mascot? Explain your choices.
I would simply name the school after the region it is in for example if the school was in a neighborhood called mayweather you would call the school Mayweather High School. For the mascot I think there should be a set list of different mascots to choose from that have to do with the history of the area or that can be used as symbol to represent the school. Then the students and staff would vote from the list to choose.
2. Why do you think symbols like a name or mascot are so important to the people of the city?
Why would it be important to the students?
People find symbols like names and mascots important because they see it as a representation of the community. For example some people don’t believe a school’s mascot should be a devil because they don’t want what they believe is the cause of all bad things to happen representing them. While others could believe that a mascot is just a random figure they use to put with the name of the school. It would be important to the students because they should want a name and mascot to be proud of and want to represent.
3. What are two goals you could recommend the new principal to consider when opening up the
new school?
Two goals I could recommend to the new principal would be having all students who attend the school graduate. This is a great goal to have because all students deserve to graduate. You could start special programs for teenagers who have to work or have kids so they can’t attend day school to help them reach that goal. Another goal I would suggest is to make sure all recreational groups are funded equally and all given the attention they derisive. As someone who is a part of a school’s theater department that is given very little attention and funding is hard and seems like your talents are not cared about. Making this a goal would help motivate students.
4. Identify two challenges that principal may have in achieving those goals?
A problem that the principal may have while achieving the first goal is that it would be very difficult to motivate each student, especially if the school grows to be very large. Another would be that if the school grows and teachers have to teach more students at once the personalization of the teaching would be lost and may be harder for some students to pass. With the second goal is would be difficult for the principal so have the money to support so many recreational groups. Getting students involved is also hard sometimes.
