subtract 6 from all -39-6<5n+6-6<36-6 -45<5n<30 divide by 5 each term -45/5<5n/5<30/5 -9<n<6 equal to sign is there

Well, then do it. What is preventing you from drawing a number line and marking 6 and -9?

Learn this.. if there is an equal sign, it is a closed circle if there is no equal sign, open circle < less then means shading to the left > greater then means shaded to the right
