cot x= -sqrt 3/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you want to find x??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, -pi/3 radians. sorry ..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need it in degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is how it started cot x=-sqrt 3/3, but i know that cot becomes 1/tan c=-sqrt 3/3, then you isolate the x by moving the 1/tan to the other side. then it becomes x=1/tan(-sqrt 3/3). how would we solve that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=1/tan^-1(-sqrt 3/3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what will we do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x will equal to 45 got it
