What do most composites and plastics have in common? They are electrically non-conductive. They are crystalline. They are based on a carbon molecular structure. They are malleable.

They are crystalline.. Most plastics are compounds that form a certain structure why they cool ( crystalline structures). Composites are really just plastics mixed with fibers, which can be conductive, like graphite or carbon, or non conductive like fiberglass or wood. You can make plastics and composites both conductive. There are things like lithium plastic polymer batteries, just to show that plastic can be conductive
