they both have 8 cards, and there are 52 cards in a deck, that means there are 52 - 16 cards left in the deck

so there are 36 cards left in the deck.
now Jeff already has two fives , and we know Mark has no fives,
that means that there are 2 fives in the deck, since there are 4 fives in a 52 card deck.
so probability jeff draws a five is 2 / 36
