look at the blue above. try to fill the blank in such a way, that would work for each equation.

All options are minus, like
a) -8
b) -5
c) -2
like this?
OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):
No that is the answers to your question
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
nvm, lets just start over.
Determine whether the sequence is arithmetic, geometric, both, neither.
16, 8, 4, 2 . . .
you can get from 16 to 8 in a couple of way.
1) 16 - 8 = 8 or
2) 16 / 2 = 8
you can see that subtracting 8 from each term to get the next, is not how THIS series works, right?

Do you know what "geometric series" and "arithmetic series" mean ?
OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):
No

Do you know what a series is?

Nope

I would suggest to open up a new question about what "series", "geometric series" and "arithmetic series" are. I am running out of time and can't help more; sorry.
OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):
Is It A?
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
it is none of your options, because you DO NOT SUBTRACT n this series.
I am done, have no time.... Good luck ;)
OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):
Is it s arithmetic, geometric, both, neither?
