Matt's school had a race. Matt is the 50th fastest runner in his school. Matt is also the 50th slowest runner in his school. Assuming no times are the same, how many runners are at Matt's school. I think there are either 50 runners or 99 runners or am I totally wrong?

or 1.2.3..........50 50, 49,48, 74...... either 99 or 50 I am not sure
