in a right triangle, what's the name of the longest side?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use the cosine law to find out the angle that is opposite to the longest side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the Pythagorean theorem proves that this is not a R triangle. Because A^2+B^2 does not =C^2 with these lengths.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hypotenuse if its not a R angle you can't use Pythagorean theorem to prove hypotenuse.
