ONE MEDAL!! REWRITE:: 1.At the Berlin Conference, Africans and Europeans agreed that all of Africa would remain free. 2.European nations scrambled for African colonies because they needed a place for their overgrown populations. 3.African people calmly accepted the Europeans as rulers.

1. The Berlin Conference did not consider/prioritize the indigenous African peoples. 2. Finding additional land for overgrown populations did not fuel the quest for foreign domination. 3. The African people greatly resisted European rule but their attempts failed due to the superior weapons of the Europeans.
