question see below

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

Where is the question...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(1+\sin \theta)(1-\sin \theta) \] and the answer in the book is saying \[\cos^2 \theta\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@whpalmer4 do i do this the some way i did last problem ?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

\[(1+\sin\theta)(1-\sin\theta) = 1*1 - 1*\sin\theta + 1*\sin\theta -\sin\theta*\sin\theta = 1-\sin^2\theta \]\[\qquad =\cos^2\theta\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so do i solve like i did last one using the \[\sin^2\theta +\cos^2\theta = 1 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got it :)
