Why do plant cells need both chloroplast and mitochondria?

see plants produce carbohydrates..but with that they also need energy..there are various enzymes which are specific to mitochondria...so plants require these enzymes....

plants need chloroplasts for photosynthesis, and mitochondia for oxidation of food or for energy purpose.
