The graph –– a coordinate plane with a colored in, closed figure. Each segment must be labeled. The inequalities –– show the work for finding the inequality that defines each segment. Your reflection –– write a paragraph, of 3 or more sentences, as you reflect on this activity and your final product. You may use specific questions to guide your thoughts, if needed. Can anyone help i have my closed figure @whpalmer4
I'm not sure how I can help you reflect on your own actions...
how do i find a inequality? @whpalmer4
How do you find an inequality? Assuming you're trying to find an inequality that shades an area on your graph, start by finding the equation of the line that makes up the border of the inequality. Then change the = sign to an inequality sign, with the precise sign depending on whether the border is included or not, and which side of the line should be shaded.
i have a closed triangle, i have labeled the segments a,b,also c. For segment a i have y = greater then or equal to
\[y \ge 4\]
for segment A so how would i solve for B,C @whpalmer4
You don't have to. As long as the line segment A is coincident with the line y = 4, you're covered. |dw:1394432537379:dw|
|dw:1394432582140:dw| shaded area is all y >= 4 other inequalities will restrict it to the area inside the triangle
