It would be analyzing an concept. When you analyze an image, it's already completely summarized into that one image. Now it's up to you to understand and translate, or analyze and explain. But with a concept, you have to feel it out and think of all the possible views and outcomes. Then, you must grasp this concept as well as balance the ideas of others that may be different than yours on the subject. After this, you must explain and analyze the very general concept.
