Follow the steps above and find c, the total of the payments, and the monthly payment. Choose the right answers. Jane Smart buys a new SUV. The price, including tax, is $22,500.00. She finances the vehicle over 60 months after making a $2,000 down payment. The true annual interest rate is 12%. What are Jane's monthly payments (principal plus interest)?

Ha thank you for trying but the person explained it very complicatedly. I have a huge problem with word problems. I never know where to put the numbers =/. All my other problems tell me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, I am on the same boat as you, word problems hate me. Ok, so I got this formula they were using... To the nearest penny, c = $ __ . 6,252.50, 6,250.50, 6,254.50 Total of payments = amount financed + c = $__. 26,754.50, 26,752.50, 26,750.50 Total of payments ÷ number of payments = monthly payment = $__. 446.88, 444.88, 445.88

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Step 1: Set out the information. Amount Financed = $10,000 - $1,000 = $9,000 Number of Payments = 5 * 12 = 60 Total Payments = $200 * 60 or $12,000 Total Interest = $3,000 Step 2: Calculate the APR. If , then (2)(12)(3,000) ÷ [(9,000)(61)]. The APR is 0.131 or 13.1 %.

Diff numbers but it's an example but I stll can't figure it out
