A cube has a volume of 64 cm^3. What is the total surface area of this cube in square centimeters?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

you can find the side, knowing that all this sides of cube are equal. If the volume of the cube is 64, then 1 side is 4. Surface area- there are SIX 4-on-4 (square) faces. The area of each face is 4*4 (or 16) so the area of 6 of them is 16*6 which equals to 96.

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

ok i am lost on what you did entirely......
