. At a certain time of the day, a child whose height is 40 inches casts a shadow that is 26 inches long. The child’s father casts a shadow that is 44.2 inches long. Solve for x to determine the father's height in inches.

x = 23.5

x = 63.5

1.7 * 40 = 68
