How does 2=1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a=b. a^2=ab. a^2+a^2=a^2+ab. 2a^2=a^2+ab. 2a^2-2ab=a^2+ab-2ab. 2a^2-2ab=a^2-ab. 2(a^2-ab)=1(a^2-ab). (a^2-ab)1=2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide by 0. if a = b, then a - b = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can't divide by 0...... Ever...
