i think the answer is 133 because a triangular has to be 180 degree so 35+12 is 47 and then 180-47 is 133
OpenStudy (anonymous):
not i don't think so ....
12 is not angle
if i am not wrong
OpenStudy (anonymous):
12 is not an angle and 35 is an interior angle plus we are not working on that we are working with vectors right now which is stuff like tan, sin, and cosine.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
okay then yeah that is wrong sorry

As you should be...
You have an angle...you have a side adjacent to that angle...and you want the side opposite that angle...
Which trig function uses opposite and adjacent?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Tangent
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yeah
OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):
Correct...
\[\large \tan 35 = \frac{x}{12}\]
Can you solve for 'x'?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
8.4=x
