Well......its stupid, I know that....but what do YOU think?
Bottom line for me: well-fed kids do better in school, and the kids around them do better in school. I'm mostly concerned that everyone gets fed, and worry more about the case that there are hungry kids than I do about the case where they are getting what some school official thinks is a proper lunch.
I'm not reading the article and writing your essay for you, though!

Much depends on the details. It's no good if the food is too expensive for some families. It's no good if the food isn't eaten. It's good if the students eat it and get a more nutritious meal than they would otherwise.
